"Eurovision": demand for tickets exceeds supply


More than 15% of tickets for international song contest "Eurovision-2005" will go on retail, the president of National TV Company of Ukraine Taras Stetskiv declared on the press-conference.

According to him, the tickets can be bought only by Internet now, but will appear in free sale at the end of April. The leaders of tickets buying are Ukraine and Great Britain.

For today the quantity of spectators, wishing to get to the contest, five times exceeds the quantity of seats in Palace of Sport. Mr. Stetskiv admitted that 30% of tickets are reserved by international organizations, and considerable part of them is bought by countries-participants, UNIAN reported.

Speaking about the state of Palace of Sport, Stetskiv declared that all requirements of European broadcasting union would be fulfilled to April 23.
