"Naftogas" will not allow any gas trader to work in Ukraine

National joint stock company "Naftogas of Ukrane" will not let foreign gas traders in Ukraine, declared the president of the company, Alexey Ivchenko, in an interview to Ukrainian edition "Galitskie contracty".

"We are ready to buy gas on the Ukraine-Russia border from anyone who will offer a price lower than the present one. However, we will not allow any trader to work in the internal market of Ukraine," Ivchenko pointed out.

We remind, on March the international group of companies "Intera" declared about intention to resume import of natural gas into Ukraine.

Till January 2003 the international group of companies "Intera" supplied Turkmenian natural gas from Turkmen-Uzbekistan border to Ukraine-Russia border. "Intera" partially realized the gas, derivable as payment for service, on the territory of Ukraine.
