Ministry of Internal Affairs invites Kuchma’s son-in-law for interrogation


Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine invites the deputy of Verkhovna Rada, the president of the company "Chernomorneftegas" Igor Fnavchuk, to give explanations concerning illegal oil and gas production, the minister of Internal Affairs reported today.

"We will interrogate him as a witness, why one or another well extracts oil and gas condensate not having the license," said Lucenko.

On the instructions of Lucenko, MIA conducted examination of oil and gas production in Ukraine, in the course of which the wells, which extracted oil and gas illegally, were revealed.

According to the minister, such well were found out in Crimea, Chernigovskaya, Dnepropetrovskaya and Poltavskaya regions.

Lucenko did not name the sum of damage, caused by illegal extraction. "It is impossible to estimate it, as we do not know how long these wells were functioning," he said.
