Victor Yushchenko met with Ambassadors

January 2 Victor Yushchenko met with Ambassadors of the EU, USA and Japan to inform them on Ukraine’s gas argument with the Russian Federation. He stressed that we were ready to invite international experts to consistently prove that our actions are objective and well-grounded.

The President assured those present that Ukraine was observing all international agreements to transit gas to Europe despite receiving no gas at all.

The Head of State reiterated that it was vital to resume our talks and to invoke a moratorium on non-market methods to settle the conflict.
