Plachkov: Ukraine is provided with gas to date

Protocol on gas issue, signed between Russia and Ukraine, is in force to this very day, as declared Ivan Plachkov, Ukraine’s Minister for Fuel and Energy.

The Minister noted that Ukraine is provided with gas to date. “If temperature is below zero, we will additionally consume Russian gas at the cost of transit in accordance with the previous contracts,” added Plachkov.
