Price of Russian gas for Ukraine will fluctuate

Price of Russian gas for Ukraine can fluctuate, depending on changes on oil market, as declared Aleksey Miller, Gazprom’s President, in an interview to “Rossiya” TV Channel.

“Prices on the gas market are connected with prices for oil and oil products. If price for oil increases, price for gas will increase accordingly. Therefore, price for Russian gas on Ukrainian market may become higher, but also may become lower,” pointed out Miller.

“Taking into account the fact that we have turned to market relations with Ukraine, there are no doubts that price may be increased or reduced,” said Gazprom’s President.

According to Miller, Gazprom turns to market relations with all ex-Soviet republics, which import Russian gas, without exception.
