Today plenary session succeded in changes to the electoral legislation

On March 26, 2006, the time for voting will be extended by two extra hours. Ukrainian citizens will vote from 7 a m to 10 p m.

 

249 votes of 394 present at the plenary session changed the Law "On election.”

Yaroslav Davydovych, the Central Electoral Commission Chairman, noted that the length of a ballot paper is more than 60 centimeters and every voter will have up to five such ballots. "Thus, practically every voter may find difficulties in doing it in time,” concluded he.
