Ukraine and the EU discuss visa procedure

The second round of negotiations between Ukraine and the EU concerning simplification of visa procedure for Ukraine’s citizens, whishing to visit EU countries-members, has started today, as reported first deputy Foreign Minister Anton Buteyko, ForUm’s correspondent informed.

According to Buteyko, the question of readmission of illegal immigrants will be also touched upon. Buteyko noted the participants of the negotiations are to discuss articles of the agreement’s text, taking into account arrangements, achieved during the first round of negotiations and consultations at the experts’ level.

“The conduct of these negotiations proves willingness of the sides to strengthen relations in justice sphere, to unite efforts for creation of favorable entry conditions for Ukraine’s citizens, to fight illegal migration,” noted the deputy Foreign Minister.
