Yuschehnko: Those who rigged the 2004 election will be punished

In an interview with the First National Television Channel, Victor Yushchenko said those who rigged the 2004 election would be punished. The President added that Ukraine’s law enforcement agencies initiated about four thousand criminal cases and about nine hundred people have been already punished. The President, however, said those who organized the fraud should also be found.

Yushchenko assured all that “much evidence has been collected in the so-called server case,” President's press office reported.

“A few days ago, this case was brought back to the Security Service and it contains some interesting information,” he said.

“When we speak about the ‘server case,’ it is really important to find out who controlled it in Bankova street and Grushevsky street and what decisions they made to incite the former government and President to rig the vote,” he said.
