Ukraine Economy Minister on the Jackson-Vanik Amendment graduation

The graduation of the Jackson-Vanik Amendment will give a possibility to improve trade ties between Ukraine and the USA, Ukrainian metallurgical export in particular, Economy Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk told.

He reminded about the abolishment of restrictions from 23 groups of goods which were introduced in 2000. According to the expert calculations, the potential export of these 23 categories will make 200-250 million USD.

According to Minister Yatsenyuk’s words, the US-Ukraine external economical turnover makes $1.5.
