Ukraine's Foreign Ministry on Transdniestrian problem

The new customs rules of get-up of Transdniestrian goods on Ukraine-Moldova frontier functions over all territory of Moldova, Transdniestrian Republic included, the First Deputy Foreign Minister Volodymyr Ohryzko told.

“There were not any unpredicted actions done by Ukraine. We treat Transdniestrian region as a part of Moldova,” said he in the interview Thursday.

Ohryzko stressed that on Ukraine’s request Moldova has simplified the procedure of issuing external economical activity permission for the Transdniestrian entrepreneurs.

In his opinion, the reasons of the problem are “the self-isolated Smirnov’s regime which is aimed at destabilization of the situation.”

Volodymyr Ohryzko supposes that the only way out is the registration of the Transdniestrian subjects in Kishinev.
