The US President accepted an invitation to visit Ukraine

US President George Bush accepted an invitation of President of Ukraine Viktor Yushchenko to make an official visit to Ukraine. A date is yet to be set, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Borys Tarasyuk told.

He returned from the United States Sunday. He said the USA supports Ukraine's reforms and expects the parliamentary election to be held in a fair and transparent way, NTN informed.

He also talked about the Jackson-Vanik amendment, which US government lifted with regard to Ukraine, and market-economy status granted to Ukraine recently. Tarasyuk says it will benefit Ukrainian economy and make it more attractive for foreigners and
particularly to the US businessmen.
