Yushchenko: Ukraine’s orange forces will form a coalition

At a joint press conference with Lithuanian President Valdas Adamkus, Victor Yushchenko said Ukraine’s ‘orange’ forces would unite in order to preserve our country’s democratic course.

“The greatest challenge today is to discover a consolidation formula for forces we usually refer to as democratic, and, first of all, orange forces. I am convinced it will happen,” he opined.

The Head of State said this reunion is important for Ukraine in order to protect civil rights and freedoms and democratic values.

Yushchenko said he is convinced “Ukraine’s democratic potential is unique and thereby no revenge of theprevious regime is possible."
