Ukrainian Government means to keep its promise to increase social outlays by March 2007

The Government seriously takes obligations, which it assumed in increasing social outlays on outcomes of the first quarter of 2007, and means to shortly draft a clear plan of fulfillment of additional social requirements. This was what First Vice Prime Minister Mykola Azarov said in an interview to news agencies. "We mean to propose changes to the budget in mid March," he said.

As Azarov said, promises, which the Govt has given to the President in the process of the budget signing are not just empty words and are based on forecasts of Ukraine's economic development in the first quarter of 2007, “Cabinet press office” informs.

As the First Vice Prime Minister specified, in 2006 the Government has managed to finance all basic social expenditures and the majority of other budgetary programs were fulfilled to 98 percent.
