Seven natural wonders will be chosen in Ukraine

An event “Seven natural wonders of Ukraine” will start from November 1. One of the initiators of the action Mykola Tomenko stated at a press conference on Wednesday.

He has noted that this event is the continuation of the action “Seven wonders of Ukraine”.

Tomenko has noted that the aim of the new event is propaganda of the unique natural world of Ukraine and attention attraction on objects which have the prospective to become interesting not only for Ukrainian society but also for foreign tourist society.

The event foresees that 100 nominees will be determined till February 1, 2008. The organization committees from each region will propose for Ukrainian society a list of natural wonders up to three objects from a region.

Besides, Tomenko has noted that on July 7, 2008 an internet-voting will take place and the winners will be announced on August 21.
