PR accused BYuT and OU-PSD of inflation

Party of Regions considers that BYuT and OU-PSD are responsible for inflation in 2007. People’s deputy from PR Inna Bogoslovska said today, commenting on statement of Yulia Tymoshenko concerning unprecedented inflation of 17% in past year.

Bogoslovska noted that the main reasons forinflation in 2007 were political instability and constant election campaigns during last three years, power changes and serious fluctuations in economy of different governments. Moreover, according to Bogoslovska inflation was caused by blockage of VRU activity at first by hooligan actions of BYuT and then by illegal decrees of the President on VRU dismissal.

“As a result of such actions inflation was inevitable because power was deprived of possibility to adopt necessary laws for decrease of tax pressure and for development of national production,” she said.
