Yatsenyuk offers to prolong VRU session for one week


VRU chairman Arseniy Yatsenyuk considers it is reasonable to consider issue on continuation of work of the first session of the parliament today at the conciliatory meeting of parliament factions. He said today at the conciliatory meeting in the parliament, the ForUm’s correspondent informs.

Yatsenyuk reminded that the President Viktor Yushchenko addressed the parliament with such request.

Yatsenyuk thinks that VRU session can be prolonged at least for one week in order to consider necessary tasks.

According to the President, next VRU session must be opened on January 22, but not in February as it was planned. Yushchenko considers that some week holidays just after recently formed parliament is not reasonable, taking into consideration a range of urgent tasks.
