Yushchenko asks Rada to decide on representatives of Constitutional council

President Viktor Yushchenko addressed the parliament with the request to delegate its representatives in to the composition of the Constitutional council. As ForUm’s correspondent reports, VRU chairman Arseniy Yatsenyuk stated at the conciliatory council of the VRU on Monday.

Yatsenyuk has noted that the Ukrainian parliament is one of the main factors of the constitutional work. He has addressed the heads of the factions with the request that every faction must elect its candidatures of “professional people” in to the composition of the Constitutional council.

The speaker has reminded that the last day of submission of candidatures is January 15, 2008.

Besides, Yatsenyuk informed that the parliament received several submissions from the Cabinet concerning staff appointments.
