PR to dismiss Yatsenyuk?

PR to dismiss Yatsenyuk?

People’s deputy from Party of Regions Nestor Shufrych demanded chairman of the VRU Arseniy Yatsenyuk to withdraw a letter concerning Ukraine’s joining Action plan on membership in NATO, which he had signed. He said today in the parliament, the ForUm’s correspondent informs.

Shufrych noted that it was outrageous that this document had been signed by Yatsenyuk who did not have any authorities as there was no resolution of the VRU concerning this issue.

Addressing the speaker, Shufrych noted that Yatsenyuk exceeded the limits of his authorities. In case he does not withdraw his signature under this letter, Party of Regions will demand investigations concerning compliance of the VRU chairman with holding position.

As a reminder, President Viktor Yushchenko, PM Yulia Tymoshenko and VRU speaker Arseniy Yatsenyuk have signed and forwarded letter (address) to Mr. Jaap de Hoop Scheffer NATO Secretary General concerning Ukraine’s joining Action plan on membership in NATO.
