Yushchenko wants to adopt program on preparation for Euro-2012 within 10 days

The national program on preparation for Football Championship of Europe 2012 must be adopted within 10 days. President of Ukraine Viktor Yushchenko stated today at the sitting of the Coordinating council on preparation for Euro-2012.

“We will adopt national program, which coordinates work of all institutions on this question, within 10 days at the organizing committee,” Yushchenko said.

The President has added that the analogous programs must be approved in six Ukrainian cities, where matches Euro-2012 are planed to be held. At the same time Yushchenko noted that in most cities, where Euro-2012 would be held, the city and regional councils had already approved the corresponding documents, but not all councils.

“We stress that on February 1 regional and city councils must put an end to this question,” Yushchenko said.
