Yushchenko and Putin agreed on meeting


President of Ukraine Viktor Yushchenko and President of Russia Vladimir Putin have agreed on the date of visit of the Head of the Ukrainian State to the Russian Federation. The second sitting of the Ukrainian-Russian intergovernmental commission will take place on February 12.

The corresponding agreement was reached during the telephone conversation of Yushchenko and Putin.

Yushchenko proposed Putin to charge secretaries of the Commission, Foreign Ministries to start the work concerning the agenda of the sitting formation and agreement of its final protocol.

“I consider the signing of Ukraine-Russia Action Plan as the priority task of the visit,” the President of Ukraine said.
