PR promises to block podium for Russia


Making speech at the rally “Against Ukraine’s accession to NATO”, People’s deputy from Party of Regions Nestor Shufrych stated that PR would resist to antinational policy of power, aimed at involving of Ukraine into NATO, ForUm reports, referring to PR press service.

“President Yushchenko, speaker Yatsenyuk and PM Tymoshenko on the sly had signed address (letter) with request to join Ukraine to Action plan concerning membership in NATO. But we will not let our thousand year common history with Russia to be crossed out by hand of one bee keeper,” Shufrych said.

“We must do everything in order voice of the people to be heard and its wish to be fulfilled. Only the people has right to decide the course of Ukraine,” he stated.

Party of Regions will block VRU podium until letter to Secretary General of NATO is withdrawn. “We will not let to quarrel us with our neighbours, with brotherly Russian people,” he added.
