PM: Accession to WTO is a real chance to boost business

Ukraine’s accession to the WTO will strengthen position of national entrepreneurs in world trade processes. PM Yulia Tymoshenko stated in an interview with “Euronews” channel on January 30.

“Business which works out of competition is weak and helpless. That’s why real competition only boosts business areas of every country. I would like all entrepreneurial spheres in Ukraine to be strong, modern, competitive and accession to the WTO gives such chance,” Tymoshenko said.

Prime Minister is convinced that the country, being beyond the world market for a long time, will be actually “on the side of all world trade processes.”

“We are really glad that Ukraine has passed all procedures necessary to be a WTO member. We have been anticipating this moment and hope it will happen on February 5-7,” she added.
