Prosecutor General’s Office is terrified with situation in Chernobyl zone.


Prosecutor General’s Office is not satisfied with activity of department of Interior Ministry which protects territories near Chernobyl, polluted with radionuclides. Tatyana Kornyakova deputy Prosecutor General informed today at the press conference, the ForUm’s correspondent informs.

According to her, PGO workers revealed repeated violations in Chernobyl zone. “Situation in Chernobyl zone is horrible. It influences not only the situation in Kyiv but in the whole Ukraine,” she stated.

“Corresponding departments of police actually do not take any measures there. Everything is being done formally,” she added.
