Yushchenko invited President of Shri Lanka to Ukraine


President of Ukraine Viktor Yushchenko has invited President of Democratic Socialist Republic of Shri Lanka Mahinda Rajapaksa to pay an official visit to Ukraine.

As the press service of the Head of the Ukrainian State informs, Yushchenko has sent an invitation to the President of Shri Lanka together with the congratulation on the national holiday – the Independence Day of Shri Lanka.

The Ukrainian President has noted the visible activization of contacts between two states. At the same time Yushchenko has expressed assurance in presence of considerable potential for development of bilateral diverse cooperation.
