WTO to consider Ukrainian question

The ceremony of protocol signing on Ukraine’s joining the World Trade Organization will take place on February 5. The site of the WTO informs.

The ceremony of signing will take place in Geneva (Switzerland) at the sitting of the General council of the WTO.

According to the report, Ukraine has to ratify the protocol of joining until July 4, 2008.

Ukraine will become the member of the WTO 30 days after ratification of this document.

As earlier reported, President of Ukraine Viktor Yushchenko plans to be present at the General sitting of the WTO.

Ukraine has started the process of joining WTO in 1993.
