Yatsenyuk closed first session and opened second

Head of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Arseniy Yatsenyuk closed the first session of the parliament of the sixth convocation. ForUm’s correspondent reports.

The VRU speaker also announced about the opening of the second session of the parliament of the sixth convocation. After this the national anthem of Ukraine sounded.

Besides, the speaker read the list of the People’s deputies, who were absent at the sitting. He emphasized that these People’s deputies would be deprived of the salary for this day.

As a reminder,  the factions’ leaders couldn’t reach agreements concerning the VRU podium deblocking during negotiations in the office of VRU speaker Arseniy Yatsenyuk.

Members of the Party of Regions stated that their political force would demand the break in the work of the Verkhovna Rada.
