USA welcomes Ukraine’s joining WTO

The USA welcomes the decision of the General Council of the World Trade Organization on Ukraine’s joining this organization. It is stated in the report of the press-service of the State department of the USA. The American authority “congratulates Ukraine on this achievement”, the report says.

According to the administration of Bush, Ukraine’s joining “will become important stimulus for deepening of economic reforms” and its further “integration to the global market”. Ukraine’s membership in NATO will also favor the development of the bilateral trade between Kyiv and Washington, and their economic cooperation, on the whole.
