Yushchenko charged Tymoshenko to examine gas problems


Chairman of "Gazprom" company Aleksey Miller asks the President of Ukraine Viktor Yushchenko to assist in settlement of problem aspects concerning Ukrainian-Russian relations in the sphere of gas supply. It is stated in Miller's governmental telegram addressed to Yushchenko, which was received on Saturday, head of the President’s Secretariat Viktor Baloha informed.

According to him, the President has charged Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Tymoshenko to control personally the settlement of problem in relations with Russia in the sphere of gas supply.

According to Baloha , the President has transferred the telegram, received from Moscow, to Prime Minister Tymoshenko. The President has determined that the Prime Minister must control personally the application of all necessary measures and report on performance of this assignment.

“Today’s assignment of the President to the government is the latest impulse to particular actions. It is impossible to hesitate,” Baloha summarized.
