Yatsenyuk refused to hold conciliatory council

Yatsenyuk refused to hold conciliatory council

The sitting of the conciliatory council will not be held today. As ForUm’s correspondent reports, speaker of the parliament Arseniy Yatsenyuk has stated today.

According to the speaker, today the regular sitting of the factions’ leaders has taken place.

“The desire to negotiate is fully absent. I think that it concerns not only NATO and the law on the opposition, but other things. In connection with this I don’t see the possibility to hold the conciliatory council, because there is nothing to be conciliated,” the speaker emphasized.

Yatsenyuk has noted that everything concerning the agenda has already been agreed, all documents have been distributed, but the Party of Regions refuses to unblock the VRU podium.

The speaker has proposed to wait for the readiness of the Party of Regions to unblock the VRU podium, and then to hold the meeting.
