Kyiv to host international film festival on law machinery

Kyiv will host the 9th international film festival on law machinery "Golden Georgiy" in fall, people's artist of Ukraine, USSR prize holder Hryhoriy Kokhan said. Cabinet's press office reports.

According to head of the jury Ivan Kostyliev, the festival aims at improving image and status of policemen. We want to display all the pros and cons of the law machinery in Ukraine. There two similar competitions in the world now. These are the French "Police Film" and Ukrainian "Golden Georgiy" which are rather popular in the world.

We have received applications for participation from Israel, Africa and Asia.
