Yanukovych named main aim of his visit to Brussels


Leader of Party of Regions Viktor Yanukovych in scope of his today’s visit to Brussels noted that the main aim of his visit is participation in 10th session of Committee on cooperation between Ukraine and the European Union, the ForUm’s correspondent informs, referring to the press service of PR.

Yanukovych noted that one of the discussed issues at the session was new enhanced agreement between Ukraine and the EU for next 10 years. According to Yanukovych issue on simplification of visa regime was also discussed.

Answering the question on unblocking of the parliament, Yanukovych noted that it is possible in case issue on NATO is considered.

As ForUm reported earlier, Viktor Yanukovych left today for Brussels. The aim of his visit was an attempt to convince the NATO leadership that majority of Ukrainians doesn’t support Ukraine’s joining the alliance.
