Turchynov met with EBRD vice president

During the meeting the sides discussed issues on mutual cooperation and organization of the Annual Meeting of the Board of Governors of the EBRD, scheduled for May in Kyiv this year.

In the context of discussion Nigel Carter noted that 10 years ago the Meeting of the Board of Governors of the EBRD had also took place in Kyiv and during this period “really positive changes occurred”.

The First Vice Prime Minister assured the EBRD leadership that organization issues on holding annual meeting are in the closing stages. “For Ukraine’s image hosting such event in Kyiv is very important. This will enable us to demonstrate consistent policy of the Government on the creation of a favorable investment climate,” the Vice Prime Minister stated.

Olexander Turchynov invited President of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development Jean Lemierre to take part in opening of the Ukrainian Investment Forum “Ukraine: Investments. Infrastructure. Euro-2012” which takes place on the eve of the Annual Meeting of the Board of Governors of the EBRD.
