President drives tank (photo)

Within the framework of his visit to Chernihiv region on February 27 President Viktor Yushchenko visited the 1st tank unit of the 8th army corpse, located in Honcharivske village.

During the visit to the unit President was informed about its missions, organization, and staff. He was also shown equipment used by the unit, as well as new domestically produced weaponry including T-64 BM “Bulat” tanks.

The President also drove one of the tanks at traning ground with its crew.
