President presented national awards (photo)

Yesterday President Viktor Yushchenko took part in awards presentation ceremony on the occasion of International Women’s Day. The ceremony took place in the President's Secretariat.

On behalf of Ukrainian nation President expressed word of gratitude to the awarded women. “These awards represent respect of our nation and of our state to each of you personally,” Yushchenko said.

The women, who received awards, were representatives of different profession: scientists, doctors, pedagogues, military, etc.
