Government approved Budget declaration for 2009

Today the Cabinet of Ministers has approved the declaration of targets and tasks of the budget for 2009, the so-called budget declaration, which projects the 2009 national budget deficit at 2% of the GDP. Finance Minister Viktor Pynzenyk tolf the journalists.

As he noted, the budget deficit may be corrected (increased by 1 percentage point) to 3% of the GDP, taking into account a series of projects for holding UEFA Euro 2012 in Ukraine.

The declaration also foresees redistribution of 32% of the GDP via the budget.
