Ukraine and Russia achieved progress in gas relations


Gazprom is preparing joint statement with Naftogaz Ukraine concerning stop of reduced gas supplies to Ukraine. Official representative of Gazprom Sergey Kupriyanov informed today, ForUm reports referring to Russia mass media.

Kupriyanov did not give detailed information but noted that “joint statement is already a progress”.

As a reminder, despite agreement between Russian and Ukrainian Presidents reached on February 12, this week Gazprom cut gas supplies to Ukraine by 50% over unpaid debts.
