Kyrylenko presented draft bill on immunity cancellation

Leader of OU-PSD faction Vyacheslav Kyrylenko on behalf of the coalition presented in the parliament a draft bill concerning cancellation of People’s deputies’ immunity and benefits, the ForUm’s correspondent informs.

According to Kyrylenko, the process of cancellation of People’s deputies immunity is “long-expected”. Now, due to this document, People’s deputies will be representatives of people but not caste that works for own interests. The aim of this draft bill is to make institute of Ukrainian parliament correspond to international law.

According to Kyrylenko, the only person who must not be cancelled of immunity is Ukraine’s president.
