Ukraine, EU to hold 7th round of talks on new agreement


Ukraine and the European Union are starting today the seventh round of talks on a new, Enhanced Agreement, instead of the current Agreement on Partnership and Cooperation. Cabinet's press service reports.

Ukraine's EU mission reported that the Ukrainian delegation would be headed by Deputy Foreign Minister Kostiantyn Yeliseev, and the EU delegation - by representative of the general directorate for external relations of the European Commission, Hugues Mingarelli.

The talks will be held in the format of a plenary meeting and a session of three workgroups in charge of external and security policy, justice and internal affairs, and branch cooperation.

The next, eighth round of talks is scheduled for early July in Kyiv.
