Tymoshenko hopes that Yushchenko will discharge Chernovetsky


Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Tymoshenko hopes that President will discharge Leonid Chernovetsky from the post of head of the Kyiv city State administration.

“I hope that the President will support the submission, and I hope he will discharge Chernovetsky. I hope, we will be a single team with the President in the struggle with the corruption in Kyiv,” she stated at the press conference on Sunday in Kyiv.

“I think that the President will help the Kyiv citizens and save Kyiv, this will be fair,” Tymoshenko added.

As earlier reported, the Cabinet of Minister sent a submission to President Viktor Yushchenko concerning the discharge of Chernovetsky from the post of the Kyiv mayor. The President has suspended Chernovetsky from the post of Kyiv mayor and formed a commission to investigate this case.
