PR to consider question on Chernovetsky at political council

Today at the political council of the Party of Regions the draft project on discharge of Kyiv mayor Leonid Chernovetsky will be considered. Leader of the Party of Regions Viktor Yanukovych stated after the conciliatory council on Monday, ForUm’s correspondent reports.

Yanukovych informs that the Party of Regions has held inner political consultations after the statement of PM Yulia Tymoshenko on blocking the VRU work, if the VRU doesn’t consider the question on Chernovetsky on Tuesday.

According to the PR leader, the faction has decided to hear the reports of the temporary investigation commission and to unite it with the report of the working group, formed by the President’s decree. “We must act within the law and the Constitution,” Yanukovych noted.
