Ukraine intends to attract Security Council of UNO to solve situation in Kosovo


Ukraine stands for involvement of Security Council of UNO to solve situation in Kosovo. Deputy head of the President’s Secretariat Olexander Chalyi informed today at the briefing, the ForUm’s correspondent informs.

Chalyi noted that Ukraine is concerned over situation in Kosovo and calls all sides upon dialogue for regulations of current situation.

Speaking about tragic accident as a result of which Ukrainian peacekeeper was killed, Chalyi noted that Yushchenko got a letter from government of Kosovo with condolences.

Chalyi noted that issue on security of Ukrainian peacekeepers is under personal control of Viktor Yushchenko and he is waiting for report of delegation, headed by Yuriy Lutsenko, that left for Kosovo to clear the situation.
