Cabinet approved gas agreement with amendments

The Cabinet of Ministers at today’s sitting has approved the agreement on gas supplies to Ukraine, signed as a result of negotiations between NJSC “Naftohaz" and “Gazprom” Jsc. Vice Prime Minister Ivan Vasyunnyk told journalists.

In particular, according to him, in the document before number 7,5 milliard of cubic meters is proposed to remove the words “no less than”.

Earlier, during the negotiations in Moscow the leadership of NJSC “Naftohaz" and “Gazprom” Jsc. signed the joint approved decision concerning removal from the gas market of Ukraine the “UkrGazEnergo” company.

Besides, the sides have come to an agreement that there is no need of formation of new mediatory structures for the cooperation. The NJSC “Naftohaz of Ukraine” will get customs clearance itself and realize Central Middle Asia gas on the territory of Ukraine.

Also, there was taken another decision by the sides that annually the direct supplies of gas to Ukraine will not exceed 7,5 milliard of cubic meters.
