PR accused Yushchenko and Tymoshenko of NATO misinformation

People’s deputy from Party of Regions Anna Herman, addressing the People’s deputies in the parliament, asked to help the family of Ukrainian peacekeeper, killed in Kosovo, the ForUm’s correspondent informs.

Herman reminded that the President Viktor Yushchenko and PM Yulia Tymoshenko forwarded next letter to NATO with request to join Ukraine to MAP. According to her, this letter shows that high officials of the country consciously intensify situation inside Ukraine.

She added that Yushchenko and Tymoshenko broke agreement, achieved in the VRU.

Hermann stated that the letter alleges that Party of Regions supports Ukraine’s joining NATO. “Such information misinforms countries of the Alliance,” she added.

She also noted that PR has right to address the Ukrainians with request to protect Ukraine from forcible joining NATO.
