Yatsenyuk signed resolution on Kyiv mayor elections

Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Arseniy Yatsenyuk has signed a resolution on early elections of Kyiv city chairman and Kyiv city council. The People’s deputy from the BYuT faction Valeryi Pysarenko stated.

Pysarenko has noted that the VRU chairman put his signature under this document yesterday.

As earlier reported, on March 18 the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine appointed early elections of Kyiv city chairman. This resolution foresees to hold early elections on the last Sunday of 70-days term from the day of this document has come into force.
