President sent letter to PM

President Victor Yushchenko wrote a letter to Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko with a request to the Government to discuss working out and adopting state target program “Come to know your Homeland”, president's press office reported.

According to President the program’s aim should be a promotion of intellectual and spiritual development of Ukrainian youth. “Nowadays it is very important for Ukrainian statehood development to form patriotic mood in young generation of Ukrainian citizens and provide them with solid, unbiassed and true knowledge about history and culture of their state,” Yushchenko said in his letter.
