Shlapak considers that Tymoshenko will not reduce inflation

For today there is no possibility to stop inflation for two months. The first deputy head of President’s Secretariat Olexander Shlapak said today, the ForUm’s correspondent informs.

Shlapak noted that today’s inflation in Ukraine has objective character. According to him, under current conditions, it is objectionable for one government to put the blame on previous government.

He noted that one should not overcome inflation using methods of 1993. He reminded that time inflation was overcome by means of severe control over monopolies, development of enterprises, direct access of producers to consumers, usage of means of private persons in state projects.

He also noted that everything the government is doing now is aimed at reduction of inflation but he does not see any results yet.
