Viktor Yushchenko held phone talks with Vladimir Putin


President Viktor Yushchenko held telephone conversation on Friday with President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin. President's press office reports.

During the talk the sides discussed implementation of the Second Ukraine-Russia Intergovernmental Commission decisions. They came to an agreement to stir up the Intergovernmental Commission’s bodies work. In particular, the meeting of economic cooperation committee, headed by the Prime Ministers of Ukraine and Russia is to be held on April 18 in Kyiv.

Besides, the parties discussed mechanisms of terminating Kerch straight disaster consequences and the issue of damages payment.
