Tymoshenko promises to reduce inflation in half a year


The government needs minimum half a year in order to reduce the rate of inflation and to set the inflation processes in the planned framework. Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Tymoshenko stated at the enhanced sitting of the Cabinet of Ministers, ForUm’s correspondent reports.

According to the Prime Minister, the Cabinet inherited these inflation processes from the previous government.

Tymoshenko has noted that the inflation has prolonged effect, and today’s Cabinet has inherited inflation almost at the level of 17%.

The head of the government is sure that the Cabinet is able to cope with inflation.
