17 countries stand for Ukraine’s joining NATO


Presidents of the Central and Eastern European countries stand unanimously for introduction of the Balkan countries and Ukraine to the European Union and NATO. It is stated in the final document of the summit of the countries’ leaders of the Central and the Eastern Europe, which took place in Macedonia.

According to the heads of 17 states, the European Union and NATO will be “incomplete” without these countries-candidates.

Leaders of the Central and Eastern European countries considered also questions on energy ensuring in future and situation with independent Kosovo.
